The first step towards the creation of the Ministry of Finance took place during the 16th session of the National Assembly held on the 9th July 1961. Ministry of Finance is the ministry of Bhutan is responsible to steer and sustain a robust economy through a dynamic fiscal policy and the strong culture of fiscal discipline.

Interested in-service civil servants from the DRC, MOF who meet the eligibility criteria may apply for the post along with the following documents to EIRD. NIOF. Thimphu latest by 20 January 2020.
  • Curriculum vitae (CSIS generated copy)
  • Valid online approved Security clearance certificate
  • Valid online approved. ed Audit clearance certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate (original)
  • PE ratings for the last two years (need not submit as HRD will generate from CSIS System)
  • Certificates of merits/achievements, if any (copy)
